It is with a force that’s hard to imagine, this northern Skeena River transformed into a massive body of water, carrying the bodies of fallen trees, threatening properties and homes. I dug up roots after one such flood, framed in my purple bench and hung glass. Skeena, you are the victor here, my shining bits of coloured light only pay homage to you.
