Poetry Reading: Fabienne Calvert Filteau

Fab_Poster_Terrace_Apr17 I had an opportunity to hear Fabienne read from her debut book, “Second Growth”  (Creekstone Press 2014) at the Rural Writers in Residence last fall.   Her clarity and deep connection to landscape left a strong impact on all who attended. Fabienne has been described as a startling poet. I wholeheartedly agree. She also has a very interesting relationship to the north which  is captured in “Stone Women: the water girls” (Sheila Peters.)

I’m thrilled that Fabienne will be sharing her poetry in Terrace at Green Blossom Studio, Friday April 17th at 7:00 p.m. Every-one is welcome.

About Joan Conway

My artistic passions are poetry and collage. But I am curious human, always exploring new mediums, new opportunities for creative expressions.
