This week we are exploring the theme of honesty in Writing Ourselves Alive. One very thought provoking concept  is that this is not a criticism. It is more a practice of nonharming for both myself and the listener.

a sharp edge cuts through thick rind,orange 1
my protective membrane,
splits me open,
only then the juicy tenderness,
only then do seeds flourish.
